Our roots were born from a moment of transition, one that quietly asked: What happens when a home disappears?

For over a decade, Big Power Yoga in Montrose was more than a studio. It was a place that transformed lives, built friendships, marriages and shaped the way many of us came to understand yoga — not just as a practice, but as a way of showing up for ourselves and one another. That impact was made possible through the vision and dedication of its founders, Nancy Sheridan Perry and Laura Rust.

In November of 2024, when Big Power Yoga began its closing chapter, our founders Casey McNeil and Michael Pam, two men who had evolved within the walls of BIG came together with a shared intention: keep the community connected.

What followed was a remarkable transformation and on January 25, 2025, Yoga Home was born.

Yoga Home was created to be exactly what its name suggests: a place to come home. Home to your body. Home to your breath. Home to a community that sees you, supports you, and grows with you.

Our practice honors yoga traditions while meeting every student exactly where they are. We believe yoga is not about achieving a shape, a look, or a level — it’s about presence [hence why we don’t have mirrors].

Our classes are rooted in intentional movement, each transition is just as meaningful as the poses themselves. Our teachers guide from a place of heart and awareness, tuning into the room to know when to move and when to hold. Sometimes the practice is dynamic and energizing; other times it is still and grounding. We create space for strength, connection, and self-trust. On and off the mat. Both are powerful.

Yoga Home exists because something beautiful was given to us and we believe its impact deserves to continue, grow, and reach even more people.

We welcome all bodies.

All levels.

All journeys.

This is the heart of Yoga Home.
